Mixed Media Art Course

If you're looking for a new hobby or want to expand your painting or drawing skills, join this Mixed Media course in San Mateo. This art course is designed for beginners to intermediate-level artists.

Your class will start at the very beginning as you learn to work your way through all the basic skills like brushwork mechanics and how to apply acrylics to achieve the best fluid strokes, soft pastel, and more!

About the instructor: Sherry Woodward
Sherry is a self-taught artist and art teacher living in San Mateo. She enjoys painting daily and never runs out of inspiration. Although she works full-time as a commercial insurance broker, she is a prolific painter devoted to her craft. Her work can be described as impressionistic, expressive, and impactful.
Sherry loves to share her process with her students and encourages them to loosen up by tapping into their "inner child".
Sherry is currently exhibiting over 20 pieces of her work at Golden Moon Gallery.

Beginner-friendly. This course is designed for beginners who have never picked up a brush before, through to intermediate-level artists.

Also, this class is great for individuals and couples who are looking for date nights, team-building activities, or holiday parties. Beautiful artwork based on a daily/weekly project.
 

This class series runs over 4 consecutive sessions, at the same time every week.
