Having the proper techniques for holding, slicing, and chopping in the kitchen can not only save you time but can help stop injuries. In this cooking class, with loads of support and guidance, you will build your confidence with different kinds of knife-wielding techniques.

Your talented chef Laura, will guide you through at least fifteen basic cuts that you can use for all sorts of presentation styles and recipes. You will learn how to dice, slice, mince, chiffonade, julienne, supreme, and zest. If you've been looking for productive things to do at home, becoming a better chef is always a great idea.

As well as learning cooking basics, you will be able to put them to the test by making two tasty recipes.

Knife skills menu:

  • Seasonal Salad with Suprémed Citrus Vinaigrette
  • Seasonal Fruit Cobbler

By cutting your ingredients more efficiently, you also save on waste products, making this a super sustainable indoor activity to join in on too!

A list of materials and ingredients needed along with prep instructions will be provided by the teacher once the class is booked.
