What you'll do

Katmer is a traditional Turkish dessert with deep roots. According to some sources, the history of katmer may date back to the 11th century. However, the earliest written reference to it comes from the late 14th century, during Ottoman rule. This delicious and easy-to-make Turkish crunchy pastry hails from the backstreets of Gaziantep, one of the must-visit gastronomic regions in Turkey.
An experienced chef will lead you step-by-step through the process of mixing and baking delicious katmer in this online class. All the ingredients you need to make katmer, along with some delightful Turkish tea, will be mailed to you in an ingredient kit.
