This was fun! The instructor was super knowledgeable and accommodating. I'm vegan and avoid using beeswax and the instructor was very willing to stick to soy wax to accommodate this.
I learned a lot and had a ton of fun making a great gift. My friend made one of these candles as a Mother's Day gift and his mom was touched to tears by it! My friend and I signed up for the chunky blanket class as part of a birthday gift and we had SUCH a wonderful time! Cara is an incredible teacher -- very patient, kind, and fun. You do not need any prior knitting / crocheting experience and the knitting with your fingers is not only fun, but it goes very quickly. This class was incredible! I bought the class as a surprise gift for my partner and we each made one knife each. Our instructor Arlene was so helpful, funny, inspiring, and had a great taste in music. The effort was somehow both easier and harder than expected (my arms are spaghetti), but the teacher was available to help if you were struggling. Nurullah is a very patient, detail oriented teacher. I loved learning about the origins of Art String and Mosaic Lamps. Both classes are a lot of fun to do! He's also very friendly, and makes sure you experience a truly complete Turkish experience with treats, music and culture.
