Paper Marbling Art Class
Leah was very informative. She gave a brief history on paper marbling as an art form. She told us about two forms of paper marbling and the one we were doing: suminagashi. Sumingashi is the easiest as it only requires ink and water. She showed us examples of her paper marbling art. She is very creative. I like the venue as it breathed crafting & art. I like the materials provided as we used an example of good quality paper and copy paper. The copy paper can be used to practice and perfect your paper marbling skills. The price of the class was reasonable. It was a good value for the experience we had as we were able to make more than the planned pieces of suminagashi mabled paper. I purchased the class as a birthday gift for a friend. We both enjoyed the class. We learned how to do sumanigashi or Japanese ink paper marbling. I like how easy it was to create marbled pieces. I like how it doesn't require that many materials to continue doing it. I would definited do another class with Leah. I'm looking forward to doing arts/crafts classes through ClassBento. + more

This class was incredible! I bought the class as a surprise gift for my partner and we each made one knife each. Our instructor Arlene was so helpful, funny, inspiring, and had a great taste in music. The effort was somehow both easier and harder than expected (my arms are spaghetti), but the teacher was available to help if you were struggling. To be able to leave with a handmade knife was amazing!This class was incredible! I bought the class as a surprise gift for my partner and we each made one knife each. Terrarium Making at Home
I purchased a class as a birthday gift for my granddaughter. We live in MN and we took the class in February. I was concerned about the succulents being shipped and surviving but they made it just fine. We later learned they were packed with heat packs to protect the plant babies. The instructor was engaging and lots of fun. We giggled through our oaths and had a really good time assembling our terrariums.I purchased a class as a birthday gift for my granddaughter. This wood working class was amazing! Our teacher was so knowledgeable, helped us build confidence with machinery, and provided everything we needed! There was a perfect amount of time for us to work together (sharing the machines/discussing which materials to use) but also on our own time to just be present and focus on the beautiful task at hand! I got this as a gift for my partner's birthday – neither of us had done a cooking class before, but we cook a decent amount at home so I wasn't sure what to expect. It was a full class, but Stefano and Dona did an excellent job of being attentive to everyone making sure we all got to participate in different parts of the process. Even as someone who is an experienced home cook, I came away learning a lot and the food was delicious! It was neat getting to try our hands at making the three different types of pasta from scratch. We (a class of 16) had plenty of room to observe, participate in demonstrations, and do the work of the class - making dumplings! We learned how to roll a spring roll with rice wrappers, how to make dumpling dough, and four ways to roll and shape dumplings.
