This was fun! The instructor was super knowledgeable and accommodating. I'm vegan and avoid using beeswax and the instructor was very willing to stick to soy wax to accommodate this.

This wood working class was amazing! Our teacher was so knowledgeable, helped us build confidence with machinery, and provided everything we needed! There was a perfect amount of time for us to work together (sharing the machines/discussing which materials to use) but also on our own time to just be present and focus on the beautiful task at hand! This class was great! I really enjoyed the instruction and tips from Jo. This is a fun way to craft a gift for yourself or someone else. The kit comes with a file and two wax rings. You can work out your design with the first ring and then have a second to make it better. Or make two rings (there would be an additional cost to have two rings cast. I recommend watching their videos before you get into the class so that you have the basic idea of what you will be doing before you try to do it. I continued to work on my design after the class had ended and will now try to perfect it on the second wax ring before I return it to be cast. It was fun to see Pippi the cat make an appearance. I would recommend giving this a try and will probably do this again myself. + more

This is a no-nonsense class where you really learn by doing. There's a quick hello and then you're geared up and pounding on molten pieces of rebar like you're a Viking blacksmith forging a sword. After hammering, shaping, quenching, grinding, and weaving, four hours later you leave the workshop with a knifeThis is a GREAT time.

Nurullah is a very patient, detail oriented teacher. I loved learning about the origins of Art String and Mosaic Lamps. Both classes are a lot of fun to do! He's also very friendly, and makes sure you experience a truly complete Turkish experience with treats, music and culture.
