Cooking a whole chicken (and turkey) can be quite a challenge. Over time, chefs have come up with many different ways to tackle this challenge. This online cooking class is for everyone who loves roasted chicken and wants to learn how to cook it like a pro.

One of the biggest obstacles to cooking chicken whole is making sure all parts are cooked evenly. Roast the chicken whole, cut up into various parts or spatchcock? To brine or not to brine? And what about the oven temperature: low or super hot? There are recipes for each and every method.

In this online class, you will learn the favorite way of chef Edie to roast a whole chicken. While the chicken is in the oven, we will talk and discuss other methods like the one above. You will learn various ways to roast a chicken and feel confident to try them all to learn which one you will love best.

This online cooking class is great for learning cooking techniques and how you can switch up recipes with ingredients you have in your pantry. You'll leave class feeling empowered and become a more confident and creative cook. And yes, you can apply this knowledge to your Thanksgiving turkey too!

"Learning to cook is all about learning what works best for you in the kitchen."

There are so many ways to cook that one ingredient, that one dish; and which one you choose can depend on your time and tools available, preferred taste and texture, mood, and even the weather.

In her classes, chef Edie loves to focus on 1 cooking technique, 1 dish, 1 ingredient or 1 method only. This way we can dive deep into the subject which gives you the knowledge and encouragement to loosen up around recipes. We won't be just following a recipe, but we will talk a lot, discuss and learn from each other. So you can become a more confident and creative cook too!
